PM  COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT CLASS

VOLUNTEERED AT BARRETT HOUSE

Students held a clothing drive at CEPI and collected warm clothing for the homeless. Donations from the clothing drive were taken to Barrett House on December 12, 2008.  Students gave baked goods and took holiday portraits of the families staying at Barrett House.

Mariah House

AM & PM Community Involvement Students

Spring 2009 semester

 

Students arranged flower bouquets from flowers donated by Partyline Florist and presented them to the women living at Mariah House.  Students helped the women decorate frames for a group picture.  Students also facilitated other arts and crafts projects with the women and led bingo games.

Roadrunner Food Bank 2008

AM & PM STUDENTS VOLUNTEERED TOGETHER AT ROADRUNNER FOOD BANK ON “MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY”

Students and staff packed food boxes for low income seniors in our community for the Roadrunner Food Bank’s Senior Helpings Program.

Ronald McDonald House

PM Community Involvement Class

 

Students volunteered for the Guest Chefs Program at Ronald McDonald House on Friday, May 8, 2009.

 

Students grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and baked cookies for families with ill or injured children living at Ronald McDonald House.
